Jakarta, 05 November 2024– PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk (SMART) received notice that our current President Director Mr Irwan Tirtariyadi passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 in The Central Army Hospital Gatot Subroto at 04.30 AM. The late Mr Irwan joined PT SMART Tbk in 2020. As President Director, Mr Irwan Tirtariyadi was known as a kind, innovative and committed leader who was seen as a role model by many employees.

Mr Irwan is laid to rest at the Sentosa Funeral Home, The Central Army Hospital Gatot Subroto,on Ground Floor rooms A,B,C and D. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time, and we pray he may rest peacefully.

Details regarding the succession of Mr Irwan’s roles including the holding of SMART’s Extraordinary Shareholder Meeting will be announced in due course.
