  • Sales reached Rp 86.9 trillion and net profit increased to Rp 2.58 trillion, supported by stronger market prices
  • The integrated business model strengthened the Company’s resilience while supporting performance growth in 2025

Jakarta, 22 May 2026 – PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk (“SMART” or the “Company”) reported a solid performance in 2025. Supported by appreciation in market prices, the Company’s net sales grew by 10% to Rp 86.9 trillion, while net profit reached Rp 2.58 trillion. The results were presented at the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), held at Sinar Mas Land Plaza, Jakarta.

The Company’s Vice President Director and Corporate Secretary, Jimmy Pramono, commented that this achievement reflects the resilience of the Company’s integrated business model. “The 2025 performance demonstrates both the Company’s resilience and its ability to continue growing. This is supported by our integrated business model and enhanced operational excellence across the value chain, which is implemented on a sustainable basis,” said Jimmy.

The Company’s strategy remains focused on productivity improvement through the acceleration of its replanting programme. This includes converting old estates by applying more optimal designs, using superior planting materials, with greater mechanisation and digitalisation across operations. The Company also continues to strengthen value creation through a diversified product portfolio and broad market reach. Supported by raw material traceability, capabilities in oils and fats research, and modern processing facilities, the Company is gradually transforming beyond a commodity business towards customer partnerships, delivering higher-quality products tailored to market needs.

In line with these efforts, the Company ensures that its growth is achieved responsibly through the implementation of the Collective for Impact framework since 2025, which focuses on three main pillars: Sourcing Responsibly, Caring for Our Planet, and Empowering People. This reflects the Company’s approach to maintaining a balance between business performance and sustainability responsibilities.

During the AGMS, SMART’s shareholders approved and ratified the Company’s Annual Report and the Board of Commissioners’ Supervisory Report for the 2025 financial year.

Furthermore, the Company’s shareholders approved a cash dividend distribution amounting to Rp 270 per share, or a total of Rp 775 billion, representing approximately 30% of the Company’s net profit for 2025.

On the same day, the Company also held an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS), which approved the merger of PT Perusahaan Perkebunan Panigoran (“Panigoran”) with and into the Company as the surviving entity, effective 22 May 2026. This step is part of the Company’s efforts to simplify its corporate and subsidiary structure.

As Panigoran is a wholly owned subsidiary of SMART, the merger will not change the Company’s share ownership structure and financial position. Following the merger, there will be no changes to the Company’s vision, mission, business strategy, business activities, capital structure, composition of the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors, and Articles of Association.

Jimmy added that going forward, the Company will continue to strengthen its sustainable growth strategy amid the evolving industry dynamics. “We see continued growth opportunities alongside increasing global demand for palm-based products. With strong operational foundations and a disciplined approach, we remain confident in delivering sustainable growth while creating long-term value for all stakeholders,” Jimmy concluded.
