During the haze crisis, the public and private sectors have joined forces to offer basic medical assistance to affected communities. Mobile free clinics were set up in 5 villages in Kecamatan Nanga Tayap and Kabupaten Ketapang. These clinics allowed the public easy access to free medical check-ups which allow the detection and treatment of ailments such as acute respiratory infections. House calls were also carried out to treat those who were unable to travel.
