PT SMART recently held a workshop called SMART Seed for its suppliers in Medan, North Sumatera. The workshop, the second to be held this year, is part of the ongoing intensive engagement that PT SMART is carrying out with its suppliers to help them improve their sustainable practices. The event brought together around 70 suppliers, government officials, NGOs and The Company’s Supplier Support Team to discuss getting ISPO certification and its role in sustainable palm oil.
