This year, the Sinar Mas Muslim Foundation organised many events to make Ramadhan even more meaningful, such as the People’s Bazaar and the Quran Waqf in Yogyakarta. The People’s Bazaar saw 3,000 litres of Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food packaged cooking oil sold at a discounted rate for attendees. Through the company, more than 30 million litres of cooking oil have been sold since 2005.
The aforementioned events, along with many others, served as opportunities to deepen relationships among community members and encourage understanding of Islamic values.
