Sinar Mas Agribusiness and Food responded to the allegations of violations of labour laws by 3 of its subsidiaries. Made by labour unions to the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). The allegations were addressed by the company through a clarification letter, citing that operations were in accordance to the labour laws in Indonesia.
Furthermore, the company added that it accepts all feedback and grievances from employees through the relevant channels. Not only that, on solving grievances, the company follows procedures outlined in the Industrial Relations Disputes, which include settlement by bipartite and tripartite mediation, and more.
